Ravens Wood School Students Celebrate 2026 Exam Success


Ravens Wood School is celebrating another year of exceptional A Level and BTEC results. Over 220 students achieved nearly 600 grades, with over 12% of A Level results at A*–A, 41% at A*–B and 77% of grades at A*–C. There was a 98% pass rate at A Level and a 100% pass rate at BTEC.

In many subjects, performance was particularly impressive, with students achieving top A*–B grades in Art and Design (83%), Film Studies (79%), Sociology (69%), Mathematics (55%), Economics (50%) and Music Technology (50%). Strong outcomes were also seen in Drama and Theatre Studies, French, Graphic Design and Photography (100% A*–C), Business Studies (80% A*–C), Geography (87% A*–C), History (81% A*–C), Media Studies (93% A*–C) and Psychology (85% A*–C). These results continue to demonstrate the breadth and strength of the school's academic offer.

BTEC students also excelled, with nearly 30% of all grades at Distinction or Distinction*, 86% at Merit or above, and a 100% pass rate for the third consecutive year. Notable successes included outstanding performances in BTEC Media (51% Distinction*–Distinction), BTEC Sport (92% Merit or higher) and BTEC Business (75% Merit or higher), reflecting the strength of Ravens Wood's broad curriculum and its commitment to excellence across both academic and vocational pathways.
