At Ravens Wood School, homework is seen as an important aspect of the learning process involving parents, teachers and students in a partnership aimed at raising standards of achievement and maximising educational opportunity. Homework is an important part of learning for our students, as it allows them the opportunity to revisit prior learning and to develop their ideas and understanding further. We offer homework support to our students with a staffed homework club for Year 7-9 and silent study facilities available for Year 10-11.
We also use Show My Homework for setting work, sharing resources and supporting our students to stay organised when it comes to their independent learning. To find out more about our approach to homework, please read the document below.
